1. Understanding Our Cancellation Policy

At Travelon Holidays, we strive to offer booking flexibility while maintaining our contractual agreements with hotels, airlines, and local ground operators.

Important Booking Notice

Please note that cancellation policies are not universal. Each individual itinerary/package is subject to its own unique cancellation terms based on travel season, vendor restrictions, and promotional pricing. You should always refer to the specific cancellation policy displayed on your package details and booking receipt.

2. Standard Cancellation Timeline & Deductions

For standard custom itineraries and group tour packages, the following deduction structure applies unless stated otherwise on the booking documentation:

3. Policy for Flights & Third-Party Vendors

Some components of your holiday package are subject to external third-party rules:

  • Airfares: Airline ticket cancellations and changes are subject to the specific airline's fare rules plus a nominal processing fee charged by Travelon. Non-refundable flight fares will not be refunded.
  • Peak Seasons: Bookings during peak holiday seasons (e.g., Diwali, Christmas, New Year, summer school holidays) or destination festival periods (e.g., Pushkar Fair, Jaisalmer Desert Festival) are completely non-refundable once confirmed.
  • Cruises & Theme Parks: Tickets for cruise liners, safaris, and activity entrances are completely non-refundable once booked.

4. Force Majeure & Unforeseen Events

In the event of weather disasters, landslides, government restrictions, political strikes, pandemics, or other force majeure occurrences that make travel unsafe or impossible:

  • Travelon Holidays is not liable for service reductions or disruptions.
  • Refund availability is subject to the policies of our partner hotels, transport networks, and tour vendors.
  • Wherever possible, we will offer credit vouchers of equivalent value for future travel bookings instead of cash refunds.

5. How to Request a Cancellation

To request a cancellation or change to your travel booking:

Time of Notification

Cancellations must be sent in writing via email. The cancellation timeline will be computed from the time we receive your formal cancellation request.

Refund Account

Refund payments are processed back to the original bank account, credit card, or payment gateway used during the purchase.

Please email all cancellation requests directly to support@travelon.com or your booking coordinator, referencing your Unique Booking ID, guest names, and reason for cancellation.

6. Refund Processing Timeline

Once a cancellation is authorized:

  • Eligible refunds will be approved by Travelon within 3 business days.
  • The refund transaction to your bank account or card takes between 5 to 7 business days to reflect in your account, depending on bank clearance processing cycles.
  • International refunds may take up to 10 to 14 business days.
